Spread a Little Kindness

Angie, at Vivo Bello, is working with her family to complete 35 random acts of kindness in 3.5 months - and she writes about it every Monday! So far they are up to Week 3 (and it involves Chocolate Brownie!).

The Little Hearts Project

I have just discovered the coolest blog - The Little Hearts Project. If you're a parent of young children and are looking for ways to instill in them the values of service, kindness and compassion - then this is the blog for you.

Its a fairly new blog project - and already its jam packed with ideas for encouraging empathy and compassion in your pre-schoolers.  You can help make it even better by sharing your experiences, pictures and inspiration.

Kindness is the Greatest Wisdom

Operation NICE is a global online movement initiated to remind you that a little NICE goes a long way. Melissa provides readers with stories from real people, news, assignments, etc. that promote kindness. I absolutely LOVE her blog (along with some 2100 other subscribers).

With the help of the Pepsi Refresh Project, Operation NICE wants to expand by . . .

• Continuing with the existing and successful blog which promotes kindness through testimonials, nice news, products, etc. 
• The development of a NICE Toolkit containing notecards, stickers, posters, etc. which participants can use to spread niceness in their communities.
• The creation of workshops for youth to teach the value of kindness through fun activities.

They need YOUR vote - so please, if you believe that we should be working to bring NICE back, vote at Pepsi Refresh and spread the word about Operation NICE!
